Nominations open for IFAJ Leadership Awards.

Nominations are now open for two of the IFAJ’s most prestigious awards, the IFAJ-Alltech International Award for Leadership in Agricultural Journalism and The IFAJ Alltech Young Leaders program.

Both of these programs help identify and support the emerging and existing leaders in agricultural media who are members of their state’s affiliated rural press club.

The ACAJ can send one nominee for each award, and the hunt is now on to nominate either yourself, or someone you know, for consideration.

The IFAJ-Alltech International Award for Leadership in Agricultural Journalism

Journalists aged 40 years or younger by Dec. 31, 2021, can be nominated through their IFAJ guilds via the online application form. A global winner will be selected by an international committee based on their journalistic achievements and the leadership they demonstrate within their guild. The global winner receives complimentary registration to attend the Alltech ONE conference in Kentucky USA in May 2022,  and will be honored during a presentation.

Applications close: 22 December 2021

The IFAJ Alltech Young Leaders program

The IFAJ-Alltech Young Leaders in Agricultural Journalism Award recognizes the leadership potential of young members from countries belonging to IFAJ, and supports their participation at an IFAJ congress through this award, designed to help offset travel and registration. Guilds are encouraged to nominate candidates 35 years of age or younger for these scholarships via the online application form. The winners (10) go to the IFAJ bootcamp and congress, June 2022 in Denmark.

Applications close on 21 January 2022
