Rural Media South Australia


Rural Media South Australia (RMSA) provides a valuable network and platform for exchanging information and debating issues concerning the State's rural sector. It encourages informed discussion in metropolitan and regional media outlets and the broader South Australian community.

RMSA has been active in South Australia for more than 40 years and has more than 140 individual members. The organisation's major corporate sponsors include Telstra, Primary Industries & Resources SA and the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society.

RMSA meets 10 times a year, usually for lunch at the Adelaide Oval or the Adelaide Showground. Highlights of the calendar year include the annual Telstra Rural Media Awards, announced at a special lunch in December, and a breakfast held in conjunction with the annual Royal Adelaide Show each September.
